Description

Medium and heavy duty trucks manufactured starting on January 1, 2010 are required to meet the EPA Emission  Standards. The majority of truck manufacturers chose to use selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology to meet the standards. As part of SCR technology, Bosch provides the Denonxtronic 2.2 dosing system which injects urea into the exhaust which interacts with the SCR catalyst to reduce the NOx emissions level. The supply module contains a main filter which filters the urea being pumped into the dosing module.
 
The filter needs to be replaced per the manufacturer’s scheduled maintenance requirements. The Bosch Urea Filter for diesel applications is designed for and supplied to OE manufacturers, and o ers one SKU which covers up to 69% of Class 4 through Class 8 trucks in operation.

-How often should the filter be replaced?
 Cummins suggests every 200k miles or 6,500 hours, while Detroit suggests 3 years or 500k miles. 
 However, we recommend replacing your filter every 3 years if you are averaging 35K miles or more a year.

RETURNING USED CORES
Most remanufactured parts require a core charge. If you are puchasing an item from Cardinal Parts that does require a core charge, you will be eligible for core credit upon return of your old core unit.  Please note that used cores must be returned within 30 days, provided the replacement parts were purchased at Cardinal Parts. All cores must be shipped back in the box you received your new/reman product in. If your original box arrives damaged, please contact us for further instructions at Support@CardinalParts.com.


Before returning your core, be sure to drain fluids from the core and place it in a plastic bag to prevent leakage. Then pack it in the box that contained the new/reman part you purchased from Cardinal Parts.


Cores that are incomplete, missing components, are burnt or tampered with, are damaged or have damaged components, or are disassembled, will not be accepted.
